PATTERN DEVELOPMENT

BLOG POST 2: CLAY ELEMENTS

PATTERN WHERE CLAY ELEMENT COMES FROM

CLAY ELEMENT ARRANGEMENT 1

For this arrangement what worked well is the layering of it and what I found interesting the form that it made like a cross.

CLAY ELEMENT ARRANGEMENT 2

The 3D form together with the 2D form worked well with each other, what I like about is how the complement each other.

CLAY ELEMENT ARRANGEMENT 3

What worked her is that they touched each other and at the same time others are not touching which allowed the negative space to form a pattern, and this what I like which was the negative pattern it formed.

PATTERN WHERE CLAY ELEMENT COMES FROM

CLAY ELEMENT ARRANGEMENT 1

How the 3D  and 2D shapes complement each other, what I liked of this is the fact that it formed some kind of a cross.

CLAY ELEMENT ARRANGEMENT 2

How the 3D  and 2D shapes complement each other, what I liked of this the feel of it looking like a flower, which brings a bit of a feminine feeling to it.

CLAY ELEMENT ARRANGEMENT 3

What worked with this arrangement is that each element was not touching but still form a shape, which is kind of circular, what I like of this arrangement is the negative spaced that it formed.

How the 3D  and 2D shapes complement each other, as well
as the layering of it, the things that I like of this arrangement
is the double crosses that formed as well as the negative space.

These elements worked well together as you can see the 2D shapes
complements the 3D shapes, as you see the curves of the 2D co insides with
rounded curves of the 3D shapes, what I liked is how some of the negative
spaces formed into a pattern.

These two elements worked together allowing me use them form
the arrangement which I came too and allowed  me too form negative
spaces that are interesting, what I liked of this arrangement
is the arrangement itself as well as the negative space
it formed inbetween the tear drop shape.
